Give
Your gift keeps a child in class.
Choose an amount and what it pays for. We buy from local suppliers, deliver to schools and homes, and send you a receipt and proof of delivery.

Year one
Where the money goes
Gifts go to the year-one plan below unless you choose a programme. Gifts with no programme chosen also fund our home visits. Each year we publish our activity report and audited accounts.
How we use your giftSchools and clubs
Fundraise for a reading room or a year of lunches for a class, and visit it on a school trip with Wildcation Travels.
School partnershipsTravellers
Travel with our sister companies and $25 goes to the foundation for you, at no cost.

How you will know your gift arrived.
We want you to see exactly what your gift did, while keeping the children safe and within Tanzanian law.
A receipt for every gift
An official receipt from the foundation, with our NGO registration number, the amount and the date.
Proof of delivery
When your gift has been spent, we send the supplier’s receipt, the signed handover form and photos of what was delivered: the uniforms, the beds, the food, the books. Personal details are removed.
A progress card for sponsors
If you fund an Oasis Scholar, you receive a private progress card about once a term: the child’s first name or a chosen name, age, class, attendance, progress at school and sometimes a note or drawing, shared with the guardian’s consent.
Confirmation from local partners
On request, a letter with the official stamp of the partner school or the local street or village office, confirming the support was received.
Our annual report and audited accounts
Every year we file an activity report and audited financial statements under the NGOs Act, and make them available to the public.
Visit with our team
Donors may join a planned visit to a partner school with our team and the school’s permission. We do not arrange private contact with children.
What we will not share, and why
We never share a child’s full name, address, school name, phone number or face, publicly or privately, unless a parent or guardian has given written consent for a specific use. Tanzania’s Law of the Child Act and Personal Data Protection Act protect children’s privacy, and sharing more could put a child at risk. Please keep what we send you private and do not post it online.
Questions
About giving
How do I pay?
Use the “Give securely online” button, which opens our giving page with our payment partner, Payaza. For a bank transfer, or if you prefer us to contact you, send a pledge with the form and we reply within one working day.
Can I give monthly?
Yes. $10, $25, $50 a month or any amount. Send a pledge with “Monthly” selected and we will set it up with you. Monthly gifts let us plan meals and scholarships for the whole school year.
How will I know my gift arrived?
You receive a receipt for every gift, then proof of delivery once it has been spent: the supplier’s receipt, the signed handover form and photos of what was delivered. More about how we report.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. Every gift receives a receipt from the foundation by email, showing the amount, date and our NGO registration number.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
The Little Oasis Foundation is registered in Tanzania. Whether a gift is tax-deductible depends on the country you pay tax in; please check with your own adviser.
Can I choose which programme my gift funds?
Yes. Choose a programme on the form and we use your gift for it. Gifts with no programme chosen go where the need is greatest, including beds, mattresses and food for the families we visit.
Can my school or company fund a whole programme?
Yes. A school group or company can fund a reading room, a year of lunches for a class, or a group of scholars. See partnerships.
